Ashton's Quilt
My brother Jeff and his wife Sarah welcomed a new baby boy, Ashton, to their family. I wanted to make him something and since I really only have experience making dresses and skirts and I've been wanting to make a quilt forever I thought this was the perfect opportunity. I am soooooooooooo in love with it!!!! I want to keep it for myself :) I used this tutorial to make it.
I love the colors, the way they are all laid out reminds me of Legos.
And the back is soooooooo sooooooo soft!
This gives a better perspective of the size of the quilt.

Bah! You're a quilter! When you get famous I'm gonna remind people that I knew you way back when you couldn't square a baby blanket to save your life. :D Won't that be fun?
Very cute quilt! It totally looks like legos to me too! Love it!
I loved the capes too. I was thinking about making my nephew one and now I think I totally have to now!
