Dear Readers,
I am so delighted that you all read my blog! After all, the reason I have it and try to keep it up to date is so that those of you who don't live near us can see our beautiful daughter as she is learning and growing and see what our family is up to. Due to recent events though I have made some changes to the commenting section. I will no longer allow anonymous commenters and I will approve all comments before letting everyone else read them. I'm sure there are more people that read my blog than I know about, but if you are going to leave a comment I would at least like to know who you are. And, if by chance a rude or inappropriate comment gets written I can just make sure it doesn't get posted so the whole world doesn't have to know about it.
I hope you all keep reading my blog and leaving comments, because I love reading them.

p.s. I was not offended by the anonymous comment that was left that has led me to make these changes, but I was a little bit annoyed by it and I would like to know who is leaving comments rather than just random anonymous people leaving them. So Anonymous, whoever you are, I hope you keep reading my blog and leaving comments, just with your name from now on, please.

i did the same thing. i was getting rude comments so i made it that i had to check it first.

One time someone said "you annoy me" in an anonymous comment on my blog. I was offended and I'm suspicious of EVERYBODY who doesn't comment anymore of hating my guts.
The truth is I annoy me too, but if they had just told me who the were I wouldn't look at EVERY person in my ward and think they hate me.....just sayin' I'd rather know who hates me and who doesn't. :)

I totally understand where you are coming from, I don't allow anon. comments on my blog either. (also, did you know you can delete comments you don't like? I just figured that out.)
Hahaha, you'll probably moderate the comment that I made to the anonymous commenter then. I certainly don't mind expressions of opinion, but when people start getting pushy like they know what's best for YOUR kid... it grates on me. I guess I'm just in an overall grumpy mood today. Smile! Because you are going to approve this comment, this is between you and me. I was laughing so hard at the last comment from the anonymous person about it not being safe to let Evie play in the car. Come on, you would never let Evie do anything dangerous. Besides I think your the best mom ever and I've seen all the varieties. I totally agree with you about the comment thing. I once had someone comment about something I said that was really harsh, and it was anon. Sad thing is I figured out pretty quickly who it was. People are just funny. If you can't say it to their face than don't say it at all. Anyway, I just felt like writing you. I'm now having another random moment of really missing you.
