The town is known for it's copper sculptures and they are displayed on practically every street corner. They were pretty amazing.
Joseph is just a tiny little town with about two or three blocks with little shops that you can get souveniers and fun stuff in. There are also little gardens between some of the building that were fun to go into. Evelyn particularily liked this garden because it had a pond with fish in it.
Evelyn and I checking out the fishies.
Grandma Janelle and Evie walking down the block.
They had this awesome art gallery and this was one of my favorite pieces.

After walking through the town we went to Wallowa Lake and had lunch at this little diner. The food was delicous. The lake is right up against the mountains and is just beautiful. There are wild deer that are so used to people they will walk right up to you and you can feed them. We thought it would be better to keep a picnic table between Evie and the deer, I mean they are wild after all. But I did feed this one a dandilion, it was pretty cool. I never really realized what a beautiful animal they were.
Evelyn had fun running around in the park collecting pinecones.
This is the lake. I guess it was formed by a glacier and the hills that you can see on the right and left of the picture were from the glacier pushing the earth up. The lake is something like 300 ft deep and EXTREMELY cold.

Well that was our fun and adventerous weekend. We hope you had a great one too!

Okay she is just too cute! I love her little pig tails! i can't wait until Abigail can have pigtails.
The girl loves the water! Send her my way and we'll go swimming every day!
Also, I think Cameron is getting cuter as he gets older. (Maybe I just miss you guys too much). Know what I can't wait for? When he's a wrinkly smiley old man. :)
What a fun weekend! I love the peacock/ostrich thing too. :)
I'm glad you guys had a fun weekend. We had a great time in Idaho with all the Chandlers. Jaydon loved the huge slide at the back of the lodge.
