Lacey

After my parents came over to visit us, the girls and I hitched a ride back to Lacey with them and spent the week hanigng out. My sister informed me that I am really bad at taking pictures and blogging about my trips to Lacey, which is completely true. When we go to Lacey it's just like a second home and I just don't really think about taking pictures because most of the time we're just hanging out doing every day things, which I  love by the way. But, since Kelly reminded me I needed to be better at blogging about my trips here are some pictures from our last trip to Lacey :)

I made some freezer jam with my sister Carie from the best strawberries on the planet, Spooners...YUM!

The week we were in Lacey we totally lucked out and had super nice weather and were able to go swimming at Carie's house.

I love this picture! It sums up Evelyn's personality, our little poser, and how much Cassidy hates the water haha

Pretty much all of Cassidy's life she has not been a fan of the water. Even baths have been torture for her. So when we were at the pool her and I just sat and watched and if anyone splashed her or if I walked near the pool she would freak out. Well after we had been sitting there for 2 1/2 hours she decided she wanted to put her feet in, which led to her whole body. YAY, except that it was time to go and she was NOT happy about that.

Carie got some little 4 wheelers and they have a big enough backyard to ride them around in, the girls loved riding them (of course we were going super slow, it felt like a glorified riding lawn mower lol) But it was lots of fun.
Me and the girls rode around on the 4 wheelers going about as slow as you could without killing the engine, but Cameron rode the dirt bike and 4 wheelers as fast as he could in the amount of spae he had. My nephews even made a little jump Cameron had fun going over.

My girls just love to follow they're cousins around and do whatever they are doing. So this is what our trips are usually like, my girls being entertained by their awesome cousins and aunts :)

One of the best parts of this trip was seeing my best friend Heather! She lives in New York and was in town for her sisters graduation. I am lucky if I get to see her once a year so it was wonderful getting to spend some time with her and catching up :)

Of course no trip to Lacey would be complete without lots of stories read by Grandpa.

Farewell beautiful western Washington, until we see you again...
