Our Little Carebear

This is our precious little carebear. I forgot we had this outfit so we put it on her and couldn't stop laughing.
And this is from her bath. She loves them now.

6 weeks

I cannot believe she is six weeks old already! Time sure does fly when you are having fun. She was weighed last week and was 8 lbs 10 oz, that's all due to her very healthy eating habits. I love her chubby little cheeks, but don't be deceived by them, the rest of her is still super tiny (she's STILL wearing newborn clothes).

Dan and Sarah

One of Cameron's best friends who was also his old mission companion, and his wife came by and saw us on Monday. I love both of these pictures because Evelyn looks kind of like she's smiling in both of them. I guess she really liked Dan and Sarah :)

Random

This is just a random picture from Sunday. I think she looks so cute :) She likes to stick her tounge out and now she likes to be held sitting up. She's growing so much!

Ovorp

Last Saturday (the 16th) we went to Provo to visit. Heather hadn't seen Evelyn yet and our friend Brigham had just gotten home from his mission a few days before so we were taking him down to see Heather and Havalah too.

Havalah, Evelyn needs a friend to play with... hint hint ;)

Brigham's brithday was the next day so we sang to him and had cake. He's laughing because it was the ugliest version of "Happy Birthday" I have ever heard. None of us were singing the same version, it was quite interesting.
Isn't that the most beautiful jar of M&M's you have ever seen? I spent way too long seperating those... I hope he enjoys them.

Heather holding Evelyn.

Huggard's

This is a little late, but I'm finally posting these pictures. Last Sunday (the 10th) we went to the Huggard's house for dinner and to show off our little Evie. It was so fun to see them and talk with them. Below are pictures of Aunt Carma and most of the Huggard girls holding Evelyn, they just couldn't get enough of her, we loved it :)

Sunday Dress

Today was the first Sunday we took Evelyn to church. Yesterday I was going through her dresses to see what she would wear and I realized I didn't have anything small enough so we had to go buy her a new dress. I also discovered that they don't make tights small enough for newborns. They say the size is "0-6 months" but last time I checked there is a HUGE difference in size of a newborn to a 6 month old, so when I put the tights on her they were huge too, so she just wore socks.

I absolutly LOVE this picture of her. This is how she is pretty much all day unless she is asleep, just very content and calm.

I love this picture too, it almost looks like she's smiling...

"I hold baby! I hold baby!"

We have gone over to my brother Jeff's house a few times sinse Evelyn has been born and his kids love to hold her and "play" with her. We finally remembered to bring our camera and here are a few pictures of her with her cousins.
Andrew is wonderful with Evelyn. He is always very careful when he holds her and he reminds Ethan and Claire that they need to touch her very softly and just on the head.

Claire was helping her put her binkie back in her mouth, it was too cute :) Almost from the moment we walked in the door and Claire saw Evelyn she was saying "I hold baby! I hold baby!" Most kids have an attention span of about 30 seconds, so after she was holding her for that long I went to pick her up but she just wanted to keep holding her. She held her for a couple of minutes and then we gave Ethan and Andrew a turn and then she wanted to hold her again, it was very cute.

Ethan can't get enough of her. The whole time we were there he was practically climbing on me to get closer to her. And he kept coming up and as he says it "pet her head very soft"

I found Claire trying to climb into Evelyn's carseat, so I helped her a little bit and she loved it :)

Tiny Baby

About a week and half ago I called my mom and I told her that I had to go buy Evelyn some new outfits because she is was still wearing newborn size clothes and I hadn't expected her to wear them for this long and I only had like three outfits in that size. Well she just happened to be out shopping at the time with a couple of my nieces and said she'd see if she could find anything cute. About 15 minutes later she called me back and said she found these cute outfits on sale and would send them to me the next day. I got the outfits three days later and when I pulled them out I thought "These are tiny! They might not fit her after all." I was wrong. They were anything BUT too big. Below you can see the adorable outfits :)

Evelyn LOVES her binkie so when we take it out to take pictures she starts moving around a lot and waving her arms (see above picture). But when she has her binkie in her mouth she is SO calm and content and will just lay there (see picture below). She also loves to have her hands up by her face.

Four Weeks!

I can't believe our little Evelyn is four weeks old today! She is such a joy and brings us so much happiness. She is definently developing her personality more and more every day. She no longer just sits still when we hold her, but she likes to look around and "explore" with her hands. She also loves her binkie. It's very hard to get a picture of her awake without it in her mouth. She is so much fun and I can't wait for her to devlop and grow even more.

Great Grandpa and Grandma Chandler

Yesterday my granparents had to come to Salt Lake for an appointment and they were kind enough to stop by and visit with us for a few minutes. It was fun to see them and for Evelyn to meet her great grandparents!

Here are just a few random pictures from the last couple of days :)
