Crabbing

Saturday morning the whole family went crabbing in Newport. I had never been crabbing before so I didn't really know what to expect. It was pretty fun, but very cold. The sun was shining but the wind was blowing and it was just freezing.

This is the boardwalk we did the crabbing off of. There were tons of people out there. We ended up catching and keeping 11 crabs. We caught a few more than that but they weren't big enough to keep. Here's most of the family looking all excited to be crabbing
Our happy little family :) This was the first time we had ever really used Evelyn's carrier, and she loved it! She especially like licking and sucking on the front of it. You wouldn't know it was cold from looking at Cameron, he wore shorts and a t-shirt and was just fine. I was freezing the whole time so I figured Evie was too so we tried to put as many layers on her as we could. A couple of our cool crabs. We decided we would take family pictures while at the coast since we would all be together (I'll put those up in another post). I told Cameron's dad that he had to shave for it and he thought it would be funny to tease me by shaving only half of his face...ha...ha....not so funny. He got a few interesting comments and looks from people that day. lol
