Even though it was extremely cold at the beach we did go down there a couple of times and had lots of fun. Cameron bought a skim board and LOVED it. Our brother-in-laws, Carson and Jason, also joined him in skim boarding. The water was FREEZING, but he still went in it. Notice the sweatshirt he is wearing with his board shorts.

I flew a kite while he was skim boarding, it was tons of fun. I haven't flown a kite since I was a little kid.
Cameron thought I should try the skim board. Since I would fall over if I tried to do it myself, Cameron was kind enough to pull me around on it. It was actually a lot of fun.
Apparently skim boarding is a good workout and after a while Cameron did get hot and had to take his sweatshirt off. Don't those waves just look so cold??
The next day we went to the beach when it was a little warmer and sunnier out. It was still chilly though from the wind and stuff so we bundled Evie up nice and good. Isn't she the cutest thing you've ever seen? She even kept the glasses on for quite a while, I was very surprised.
This is my crazy husband thinking it would be fun to "swim" in the ocean. He said that after a few minutes you literally just become numb from head to toe and can't feel a thing. Cameorn and Jason actually spent quite a bit of time just swimming around out there. I think they are both insane.
And I can't resist another cute picture of my baby hanging out on the beach :)
