A Good Weekend

Cameron and I had a fun-filled weekend. It started out with a nice little camping trip up East Canyon with Jeff and Andrew. Because of all the wildfires and lack or rain here in Utah we weren't aloud to have any sort of fire, not even in a fire pit with bruquets, so that was a little disappointing since campfires are what camping is all about. But we managed to find other things to do and enjoyed our selves. We took a little walk down to a beaver dam. Andrew thought it was cool, but scary at the same time since you could see the water running below your feet, he wouldn't let go of Jeff's hand the entire time. We even found some great walking sticks on top of the beaver dam.

Cameron and Andrew posing with their walking sticks from the beaver dam, they were playing a little baseball with them.
Cameorn has a few air soft guns and Andrew thought they were the COOLEST thing! The entire time all he wanted to do was shoot them. (Don't worry, they can't even dent a soda can) The only bad thing was he isn't strong enough to cock them himself so evey other second he was asking someone to re-cock it for him. He actually has really good aim, he could hit soda cans and water bottles, trees, and signs. I'm pretty sure Cameron will be his hero for the rest of his life. :)
Here's Jeff and Andrew shooting at a water bottle. Andrew had the whole aiming thing down, he would close one eye and look down the "barrel" or whatever it's called and line up his target. And like I said before, he was actually really good at it.
On Saturday we went and saw the new Harry Potter movie with our friends Amy and Josh. It was amazing and wonderful like all the rest of them. I won't say anything about it because I don't want to give anything away to those who haven't seen it, but it is definently worth seeing. After the movie we went to Amy and Josh's and had a little BBQ. It was wonderful! I have been craving relief society potatoes FOREVER, and Amy makes the most amazing ones, so we had those and it was so good!
Sunday we went back to Amy and Josh's and had another wonderful meal, complete with homemade rolls (thank-you Amy's Bosch) :) We played some games and just had a wonderful time. Needless to say, the wonderful weekend is over and I am back at work wishing I could be at home enjoying another fun and relaxing weekend.

We want you to come play with us! Do you think Madisyn can handle the new H.P. She's reading number 4 and I think she'll die if we don't take her to it...are you talking about MY gyoza? Wow, I feel so special.

She might be able to handle this Harry Potter, it's not as dark as all the others. And I can't WAIT to come home in 4 weeks!!!! And yes, it is your Gyoza :) Amy and I used to make it when we lived together because it's so good and we need to make it again because it's been a LONG time.
