Memory Grove Hike

This is a picture from mine and Cameron's most recent adventure. We hiked up a trail in Memory Grove Canyon that took us way up high and we could see the whole Salt Lake Valley and way beyond. It was amazing! Our friend Kendall was with us and we came to a sign that said "Re-Vegetation Area. Stay on Path. Do not go beyond this sign." But it was on a little hill so we went behind it and we were just looking at the view and on the back of the sign it said something about making sure you stay on the trail. So Cameron and Kendall read that thinking it meant we could go on that trail now. It was the steapest, scariest trail I have ever been on! And as we got farther down the mountain and into the trees, the trail got narrower and narrower. I was beginning to think we weren't going to find the end and that we would have to go back and climb up the mountain. We even came across two cars that either crashed there or someone pushed them off the cliff, but it was too steep for anyone to pull them out. Finally we came to the end and there was a bridge to go over the river, and we were on a REAL trail. What was supposed to be a 30-45 minute hike, turned into a couple hour 5 mile hike. But it was very pretty and it was nice to be outside in the fresh air.
