Happy Halloween!

Is this not the cutest little butterfly you have ever seen?

Laura, you will appreciate this one. I made Cameron a rubik's cube for Halloween. And my shirt said "I'm Rubik" haha, get it....okay, maybe it's not THAT funny, but Evie sure is cute :)

My sister-in-law Megan made these amazingly awesome costumes for her boys. They were SO adorable!

So can anyone figure out what Cameron's dad is supposed to be....think hard...still don't know...alright, I'll tell you. He is a Dic-tator. Get it? lol yeah, that's what we thought :)

And since I made the costume I figured I better show it off. :)

Impossible

What's impossible you might ask? Getting a picture of Evelyn. My mom bought Evelyn is super adorable Halloween shirt so I wanted to get a picture of it. Evelyn just wants to grab the camera and she got so mad when I wouldn't let her have it. Here is what half of them look like:

I managed to get a couple of decent ones. They don't show off the outfit like I wanted them to, but what can you do when your baby is screaming because you won't let her grab the lens?

Oops, my bad...

This is why I should not cut Cameron's hair anymore. But if he is going to force me to do it, then he has to suffer the consequences of my mistakes. At least his hair grows fast...

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch with Cameron's family. Evelyn LOVED the pumpkins. We found one just her size and all she wanted to do was hold it (and eat it). There were too many cute pictures to just pick a couple, so i'm putting them all on here.

She wanted to know what all those orange things were on the ground.

When we gave her one to hold she was SO excited!

The sunset was BEAUTIFUL! The color couldn't have been more appropriate either.

Bag Tag

My sister-in-law Ruth tagged me. Here are the instructions:

Stats

Miss Evie's appointment was today, not Monday, so I apologize for making you wait to find out just how much she weighs, I know you all have been checking this a million times a day to find out :) So here it is.... She is 28.8 in tall (85 percentile) and she is a 20 lbs 3 oz (70 percentile).

Something strange...

Does anyone else notice anything strange about this picture?

This is the view right across from Cameron's parents house, you have to drive by it if you are going to their house. There is something about this picture that has been confusing me everytime I drive by it. Does anyone else see it?

9 Months!

I cannot believe that Evelyn is 9 months old today! It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. After Evelyn was born my old boss told us about someone she knew that took a picture of their baby every week on the same dat that she was born (Wednesday in Evelyn's case) for a year so she could see the changes. I've been doing that and it's been so fun to see the changes just from week to week. So here are a few pictures to show how she has grown.

Here she is at 9 weeks old.

Here's a few updates on what she's been up to:

• She has her two bottom front teeth. I'm sure some more will be coming in pretty soon, her upper gums look a little more swollen and red than normal. I just hope they come in easier than these two did, she was not a happy camper.
• She crawls everywhere! She will follow us around the house, it's pretty cute.
• She also climbs up on everything. If it is higher than the floor, she is up on it.
• Her favorite toy is her walking toy, she would much rather be walking than crawling. I'm sure it won't be too long before she really is walking.
• She can say "moma"! I'm not 100% sure she knows what it means, but she might, there are moments she she looks at me and says it, but then she just says it when she is babbling. We're working on getting her to say "dada" :)
• She loves books, but the touchy-feely ones are her favorite.
• Evelyn is always SO happy. I feel so lucky to have such a content and mild baby.

Again, I cannot believe she is 9 months old! Time sure does fly when you're having fun!

Her 9 month check-up is on Tuesday so I'll be sure to post her weight and length then.

Walking...well, sort of

This is Evelyn's favorite toy now. It gets her somewhere without having to crawl. She is better at standing up with it than she is in the video, she was a little distracted by the camera and the toy by her feet. Enjoy!
